The SC Preferredon® wire shelving add-on unit measures 48"W x 24"D x 86"H and is designed to expand existing shelving systems to optimize storage space. The kit includes 2 posts with leveling feet, 4 reinforced shelves featuring welded surface ribs for added strength, snap-on sleeves, and S-hooks to join units securely. The open design of the shelves maximizes air and light circulation while minimizing dust accumulation, with shelves that adjust easily in 1" increments without the need for tools. The shelving features a SC Preferredon® blue metallic finish intended to withstand extreme wet, hot, or cold environments, and incorporates NexGard®, an anti-microbial agent that protects the epoxy coating from bacteria, mold, and mildew, preventing odors and product degradation. The unit is NSF approved for both wet and dry use and comes with a limited lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion.
