The Safeguard 360 True HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) H13 patented filter cartridge, US Patent No. 7,048,773, is manufactured in the USA and is 99.97% efficient at capturing particles at 0.3 microns or larger. The cartridge design ensures a safe, simple, and secure operation with the hose connecting directly to the filter cartridge, creating a completely closed system. It is suitable for most dry hazardous particulate applications and includes a filter plug to prevent exposure from leaking or spilling of vacuumed contents during transport and storage. The cartridge is designed for quick and easy filter changeouts without the need for secondary or tertiary filters, thus eliminating cross-contamination. When full, the filter can be sealed with the provided plug and removed using easy pull tabs located on the ends of the cartridge. The one-gallon filter cartridge incorporates 56 pleats made from a combination of one cellulose layer, one high performance glass silicate layer, and one polyester layer, which increases its debris-holding capacity while securely containing contaminants.
