The FireKing Fireproof 4 Drawer Lateral File Cabinet is designed for letter-legal size documents with dimensions of 44-1/2"W x 22"D x 28"H in a light gray finish. This cabinet ensures the safety of vital documents, meeting UL impact requirements which guarantee that the cabinet remains locked and intact without damage to paper contents after enduring temperatures of 1,500°F, a drop from 30'H, and heating to 1,500°F again. It meets the UL 2,000°F explosion hazard rating and features a Class 350 one hour fire rating, protecting paper contents without damage for one hour when subjected to 1,700°F. The cabinet construction is insulated with 100% gypsum reinforced by a 1" x 2" lattice of 14 gauge steel wire welded with aluminum, allowing each drawer to function as a separate, insulated compartment for maximum protection. Additionally, it is designed to protect contents from sprinklers and fire hoses.
