Justrite® safety cans standard safety can features a 5-gallon capacity designed for the safe handling of flammable liquids. It is engineered to prevent ignition of flammables and protect personnel from fire and explosion hazards. The can includes a double-mesh flame arrestor screen inside the spout to prevent flashback, while a spring-loaded cap automatically closes after pouring to enhance safety. The long-life synthetic gasket is resistant to virtually all liquids, ensuring a secure seal. This Type II filling can is equipped with an independent rapid fill opening and a 9" flexible metal nozzle for ease of use. Constructed from stainless steel Type 316, it is ideal for applications where high purity is critical. The container is accepted under CARB regulations and complies with OSHA and NFPA requirements, and it is FM approved. Additionally, safety cans are UL & ULC listed and come with a 10-year limited warranty.
