The industrial gantry crane is designed for portability and flexibility compared to permanent cranes, featuring an I-beam mounting plate for quick setup. It is constructed from heavy-duty steel with a chip-resistant enamel finish, making it suitable for use in warehouses or machine shops, both indoors and outdoors. The crane is equipped with four 8" phenolic wheel 4-position swivel lock casters that facilitate easy movement between work areas. It telescopes in 6" height increments, which can be adjusted using a forklift or with optional lever ratchets for single-person operation. The height measurement is taken from the underside of the I-beam to the floor. Users are advised to utilize the crane solely for lifting loads and to conduct frequent inspections to ensure safe operation. Final testing and inspection responsibilities rest with the end user following the completion of final assembly, in accordance with ASME B30.17.
