The Industrial Gantry Crane is designed to be portable, providing more flexibility than permanent cranes, featuring an I-beam mounting plate design for quick set-up. Constructed from heavy-duty steel with a chip-resistant enamel finish, it is suitable for both warehouse and machine shop environments, whether indoors or outdoors. The crane includes four 8" phenolic wheel 4-position swivel lock casters for easy movement between work areas. Its height can be adjusted in 6" increments using a forklift or optional lever ratchets, allowing for one-person adjustment. The height measurement is taken from the underside of the I-beam to the floor. It is essential to note that the crane should only be used for lifting loads and that frequent inspections are necessary to ensure safe operation. Final testing and inspection are the responsibility of the end user after assembly, in accordance with ASME B30.17 standards.
