The industrial gantry crane is designed for portability and flexibility, featuring an I-beam mounting plate that allows for quick setup. Constructed from heavy-duty steel with a chip-resistant enamel finish, it is suitable for use in warehouses or machine shops, both indoors and outdoors. The crane includes four 8" phenolic wheel 4-position swivel lock casters, facilitating easy movement between work areas. It telescopes in 6" height increments, which can be adjusted using a forklift or optional lever ratchets, allowing for one-person adjustments. The height is measured from the underside of the I-beam to the floor. It is important to note that the crane should only be used to lift loads and must be inspected frequently to ensure safe operation. Final testing and inspection are the responsibility of the end user after assembly is completed, in accordance with ASME B30.17 standards.
