The Amana® RFS12TS Microwave is a heavy-duty commercial unit with a 1.2 cu. ft. capacity and a powerful 1200 watt output. It features a 10 touch pad control panel that is programmable for up to 100 menu items and includes automatic cooking capability for up to two portions, with Braille indicators for ADA compliance. The cooking timer is 60 minutes, countdown style, and includes a time entry option along with an adjustable end-of-cycle audible signal. The LED display is backlit, and the microwave offers 5 power levels, 4 cooking stages, and a defrost mode. Heat is evenly distributed through the cavity by 2 magnetrons and 2 rotating antennas. The unit's heavy-duty door has a tempered glass window and a lift-and-pull handle with a 90° opening for easy access, while an interior light allows for monitoring without opening the door. The spacious cavity can accommodate a 14" (356 mm) platter, and the interior ceramic shelf is designed to reduce plate-to-shelf edge impact. Constructed with stainless steel inside and out, the microwave is stackable to save on counter and shelf space.
