The SC Preferred™ outdoor ashtray features a 5-gallon capacity and a restricted opening to keep out non-cigarette waste, reducing fire risk and maintaining cleanliness. It is constructed with an interlocking flame-retardant polyethylene housing that prevents rain and airflow from entering, helping to extinguish cigarette butts and control odor. The ashtray includes a broader neck design for enhanced strength and an exclusive stainless-steel ash plate to maintain a clean appearance. It measures 39 inches in height and 15 inches in diameter. Tie-down eyes are provided to secure the receptacle against theft and wind, though the tie-down hardware, sand, or gravel used for added weight are sold separately.
