The Modine Hot Dawg® Low Profile Gas-Fired Unit Heater is a natural gas-fired heater with a heating capacity of 125,000 BTU, designed for applications where a low profile unit is required. It can be installed just one inch below the ceiling in both residential and commercial settings, offering whisper-quiet, vibration-free operation and achieving 80% thermal efficiency for fuel savings. The heater features a non-separated design that draws makeup air from within the building, and its construction includes a durable 22 gauge aluminized steel cabinet with a corrosion-resistant powder coat finish. It is equipped with a permanently-lubricated motor for dependable operation, adjustable louvers for airflow direction, and a standard finger-proof fan guard for safety. The tubular heat exchanger with an in-shot burner ensures reliable performance, and the lightweight design allows for easy installation using the included two angle brackets. Additionally, it facilitates field wiring connections with knockouts for quick access to gas and electricity, and the power exhaust feature simplifies side-wall or roof venting using a small-diameter vent pipe. The unit is CSA certified and must be installed by a licensed contractor. It is proudly made in the U.S.A. and comes with a 10-year limited warranty on the heat exchanger and a 1-year warranty on all other parts.
