The guard mounted direct drive exhaust fans feature a 10" diameter fan that can be bolted directly to the wall, making them suitable for low-pressure exhausting and cooling applications. Each fan is equipped with three aluminum fan blades that are enclosed in steel spiral wire guards for enhanced safety. The wire guards come with built-in mounting holes for easy installation. The fans operate on a 120V, single-phase motor that is totally enclosed and permanently lubricated for extended lifespan, and they are UL listed for safety compliance. The exhaust fans feature pull chain operation and include a junction box for direct wiring. It is important to note that the rough-in hole size is 1/2" (+/- 5/16) larger than the fan blade size. Optional wall shutters are available for added functionality, and the horsepower rating is based on maximum speed/load.
