The horizontal plate clamp is designed to safely and easily lift plate or sheet material in its original stacked, horizontal position. It features a durable steel construction for lasting strength and years of reliable service. The clamp meets ASME B30.20 specifications and is intended for use with materials having a surface hardness up to 30 RC (300 HB). It is important to note that horizontal plate lifting may require two or more clamps and that the clamp is not designed for use on stainless steel or aluminum plates.
