The pallet truck kit includes an LCD scale featuring 1-3/8" high characters and five function keys (zero, tare, net/gross, print, lb./kg.), capable of displaying weight in 1 lb. increments within the truck's rated capacity. The scale is accurate to 0.01% at rated capacity and powered by standard C-cell batteries, complete with an RS-232 port for data transmission to a serial device. The truck is equipped with high-torque 24V DC drive and lift motors designed for heavy-duty applications, supported by deep cycle batteries that provide an average of 6-7 hours of operation on full charge (8 hours when used intermittently). Its ergonomic handle features a user-friendly throttle with infinite forward and reverse speeds, lift/lower controls, a horn, and a safety-reverse button. The drive motor controller ensures safe operation by preventing starts after the safety-reverse button is pressed. Durable double reinforced welded forks with adjustable tie-rods ensure longevity, while an electromagnetic disc brake with an automatic dead-man feature engages when the user releases the handle. The truck includes an integral battery charger and battery level gauge, and it rolls smoothly on polyurethane steer and load wheels. The 4500 lb. capacity model has a 1.2 kW drive and 2.0 kW lift motors, with a lowered height of 3-3/8" and a raised height of 8". This equipment is best suited for use with single-faced or open bottom skids.
