Each level requires four beams, with double rivet beams used on the top and bottom levels of all units and single rivet beams used on all intermediate levels, or capacity can be increased by using double rivet beams on all levels. The beams can be used as ledges at any required height to prevent merchandise from falling or rolling off shelves. The actual length of each beam is 17.25 inches.
