Eagle's 4 gallon, self-closing, bench top flammable liquid safety cabinet is constructed of 18-gauge (1 mm) steel with reinforced double-wall construction featuring a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space on the sides, top, bottom, back, and doors. It includes two 2 in (5.1 cm) internal vents, each fitted with threaded fittings, a fire baffle, and a cap. The cabinet has a lead-free, high-gloss, baked-on powder finish with red trilingual warning labels, grounding attachment, continuous piano hinges, and a flush-mounted door handle with a key lock. It features a patented three-point stainless steel bullet latching system with self-closing doors that open to 135° and a concealed self-close mechanism for obstruction-free access to the top shelf space. The 2 in (5.1 cm) raised, leakproof door sill directs spills into a leakproof sump, supported by patented adjustable galvanized steel shelves on 3 in (7.6 cm) centers, each shelf capable of holding a 350 lbs (159 kg) uniform distributed load and supported by four brackets. The cabinet is built with internal and external welded construction, four adjustable galvanized leveling legs, and a ground connection. It meets NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements. The internal dimensions are 13.75"W x 13.75"D x 17.5"H.
