Eagle's 12-gallon self-closing space saver flammable liquid safety cabinet is constructed of 18-gauge (1 mm) steel with reinforced double wall construction featuring a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space on the sides, top, bottom, back, and doors. The cabinet’s sides, top, bottom, and doors are double-walled, and it includes two 2 in (5.1 cm) vents, each with threaded fittings, a fire baffle, and cap. It has a high-gloss, lead-free, baked-on powder coat finish with red trilingual warning labels, a grounding attachment, and a 3-point stainless steel bullet latching system with a flush-mounted door handle and key lock. The door sill is raised 2 in (5.1 cm) and leakproof, with self-closing doors that open 135° and a concealed self-close mechanism allowing obstruction-free access to the top shelf space. Each cabinet features continuous piano hinges, four adjustable galvanized leveling legs, and adjustable galvanized steel shelves on 3 in (7.6 cm) centers supported by four brackets, with a 350 lbs (159 kg) uniform distributed load capacity, and these shelves direct spills to the back and bottom of a leakproof sump. The internal and external welded construction ensures durability. The cabinet is FM-approved and meets NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements. The internal dimensions are 20"W x 14.56"D x 30.5"H.
