The DustBuddie™ dust shroud captures up to 99% of the dust created by a hand grinder before it escapes into the air. Designed for use with the Dustless® wet dry vacuum (sold separately), this dust control shroud fits most hand grinders and can be installed quickly and easily. The kit includes a brush skirt, adjustable height feature, and a removable front lip for smooth and accurate performance. It rides on a spring cushion, ensuring the grinder remains flat to prevent dust from escaping. The short brush skirt enhances lateral motion for grinding on uneven or textured surfaces. The shroud is constructed from durable, clear polycarbonate for visibility and measures 7 inches, fitting most 6-inch to 9-inch hand grinders. The removable front lip allows for use against walls, and it can be easily snapped back into place for quick resumption of work. This dust shroud helps protect workers' health by controlling airborne particles and meets EPA guidelines for lead paint removal in renovation projects.
