Eagle's 40 gallon manual close paint and ink safety cabinet is constructed of 18-gauge (1 mm) steel with reinforced double wall construction featuring a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space on the sides, top, bottom, back, and doors. The cabinet includes two 2 in (5.1 cm) internal vents with threaded fittings, fire baffles, and caps. It has a high-gloss, lead-free, baked-on powder coat finish with red trilingual warning labels and a grounding attachment. The cabinet features continuous piano hinges, a 3-point stainless steel bullet latching system, a flush-mounted door handle with key lock, self-latching doors with manual close (180° opening), and a 2 in (5.1 cm) raised, leakproof door sill. The internal dimensions are 39.5"W x 14.562"D x 39.5"H. The package includes patented adjustable galvanized steel shelves supported by four brackets, each adjustable on 3 in (7.6 cm) centers and rated for a safe allowable load of 350 lbs (159 kg) uniform distributed load, directing spills to the back and bottom of a leakproof sump. The cabinet also has four adjustable galvanized leveling legs and internal and external welded construction. It is FM-approved and meets NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements.
