Eagle's 60 gallon, self-closing, paint and ink safety cabinet is constructed of 18-gauge (1 mm) steel with reinforced double wall construction featuring a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space on the sides, top, bottom, back, and doors. The cabinet includes two 2 in (5.1 cm) internal vents, each with threaded fittings, a fire baffle, and cap. It has a lead-free, high-gloss, baked-on powder finish with red trilingual warning labels, grounding attachment, and a three-point stainless steel bullet latching system with flush-mounted door handles and key lock. The doors are self-closing with a 135° opening and a concealed self-close mechanism that provides obstruction-free access to the top shelf space; self-indexing doors guarantee they close in sequence to ensure a tight closure from top to bottom. Each door and panel are double-walled, supported by continuous piano hinges, and the cabinet rests on four adjustable galvanized leveling legs. The 2 in (5.1 cm) raised leakproof door sill and patented adjustable galvanized steel shelves direct spills to the back and bottom of the leakproof sump and safely hold 350 lbs (158.8 kg) uniform distributed load. Shelf brackets are spaced at 3 in (7.6 cm) centers and the cabinet features internal and external welded construction. The cabinet is FM-approved and meets NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements. Internal dimensions measure 39.5"W x 14.562"D x 60.5"H.
