The two-motor design of this unit, featuring one motor inside and one outside, significantly reduces indoor sound levels, as the indoor motor operates at slower speeds. The permanently lubricated motors enhance quiet operation and durability. This system includes a 3-speed fan with cooling and heating modes, boasting nearly five times the surface area of a typical PTAC fan, which ensures uniform airflow over a wider path for faster, more even air distribution and quieter airflow. The soft start/stop fan delay further minimizes transitional noise associated with compressor start-up. The models offer high energy efficiency ratings with EERs up to 12.1 and COPs up to 3.4, along with separate thermostat limits for cooling and heating for precise temperature control. Centralized desk control and compatibility with energy management systems contribute to operational efficiency and cost savings. A universal heater/power cord allows for flexible installation and simple heat output adjustments by changing the power cord to the desired size; optional cords connect easily. Note that wall sleeves and wall sleeve grilles are sold separately, and the unit includes a 20 amp power cord and corrosion-resistant coils.
