The two-motor design of this system features one motor inside and one outside, allowing the indoor motor to operate at slower speeds, which significantly reduces sound levels indoors. Both motors are permanently lubricated for quieter operation and enhanced durability. The 3-speed fan, applicable in both cooling and heating modes, possesses nearly five times the surface area of a typical PTAC fan, facilitating more uniform airflow over a broader path for faster and quieter air distribution, enhancing comfort for guests and residents. The soft start/stop fan delay minimizes transitional noise associated with compressor start-up. The models boast Energy Efficiency Ratios (EERs) up to 11.6 and Coefficient of Performance (COPs) up to 3.4, with separate thermostat limits for cooling and heating to provide greater temperature control. Centralized desk control and compatibility with energy management systems optimize efficiency and reduce operational costs. A universal heater/power cord simplifies installation, allowing installers to adjust the heat output by changing the standard power cord to the desired size; optional cords easily connect like a phone jack, enabling distributors to stock fewer PTAC models and cords. Please note that wall sleeves and wall sleeve grilles are sold separately, and the unit includes a 20 amp power cord along with corrosion-resistant coils.
