The two-motor design of this unit features one motor inside and one outside, allowing the indoor motor to operate at slower speeds, which significantly reduces sound levels. The motors are permanently lubricated, enhancing durability and ensuring quieter operation. It includes a 3-speed fan with cooling and heating modes that boasts nearly five times the surface area of a typical PTAC fan, resulting in faster and more even air distribution while minimizing airflow noise. The soft start/stop fan delay further reduces transitional noise associated with compressor start-up. Energy efficiency is a key feature, with models achieving EERS up to 10.4 and COPs up to 3.4, along with separate thermostat limits for cooling and heating that enable precise temperature control. The unit also offers centralized desk control and compatibility with energy management systems. Installation is simplified with a universal heater/power cord, allowing installers to easily change the heat output by switching the standard power cord to the desired size. A 30 amp power cord is included, and the unit is equipped with corrosion-resistant coils. Note that wall sleeves and wall sleeve grilles are sold separately.
