The two-motor design of this unit, with one motor located inside and another outside, significantly reduces indoor sound levels by enabling the indoor motor to operate at slower speeds. The motors are permanently lubricated, which enhances quiet operation and durability. This 3-speed fan operates in both cooling and heating modes, featuring nearly five times the surface area of typical PTAC fans, promoting faster and more uniform airflow while minimizing transitional noise through a soft start/stop fan delay. The models boast Energy Efficiency Ratios (EERs) up to 13.0 and Coefficients of Performance (COPs) up to 3.6, offering separate thermostat limits for cooling and heating for improved temperature control. Centralized desk control and compatibility with energy management systems further enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs. The universal heater/power cord allows installers to easily change the heat output by switching the standard power cord to the preferred size, facilitating inventory management for distributors. This unit includes a 20 amp power cord, comes standard with corrosion-resistant coils, and is backed by an industry-leading parts and service warranty.
