Rails prevent forklift and personnel mishaps and are constructed of 10 gauge galvanized steel measuring 12"H x 3-3/8"W with corrosion resistance and visibility stripes. The kit includes two brackets and hardware but requires two mounting posts, which are sold separately. The rails have a crash rating of 4,000 lbs. at 4 mph and overall dimensions of 50-23/32"W x 5-15/32"L x 12-13/16"H. Available posts include spring posts that flex to absorb impact, 18"H or 42"H posts that mount rails permanently or allow rails to be uninstalled as needed (use with straight rails only), and double rail posts that hold two rails for added vertical protection. The crash rating applies when the railing is properly anchored; however, floor thickness and conditions may lead to post failure (bolt pullout) before the rail fails.
