Rails are designed to prevent forklift and personnel mishaps, constructed from corrosion-resistant, 10 gauge galvanized steel measuring 12 inches high by 3-3/8 inches wide, and include visibility stripes. The kit includes two brackets and hardware, but requires two mounting posts, which are sold separately. The rails have a crash rating of 4,000 lbs. at 4 mph, with overall dimensions of 74-23/32 inches wide by 5-15/32 inches long by 12-13/16 inches high. Posts available include spring posts that flex to absorb impact, 18-inch or 42-inch posts that mount rails permanently or allow rails to be uninstalled as needed (use with straight rails only), and double rail posts that hold two rails for added vertical protection. The crash rating applies when the railing is properly anchored; however, floor thickness and conditions may cause post failure (bolt pullout) before the rail itself fails.
