Rails designed to prevent forklift and personnel mishaps are constructed from corrosion-resistant 10 gauge galvanized steel and measure 12"H x 3-3/8"W, featuring visibility stripes for enhanced safety. The kit includes three brackets and hardware for installation but requires three mounting posts, which are sold separately. The rails have a crash rating of 4,000 lbs. at 4 mph and overall dimensions of 146-23/32"W x 5-15/32"L x 12-13/16"H. Posts available include spring posts, which flex to absorb impact; 18"H or 42"H posts that mount rails permanently or allow rails to be uninstalled as needed (compatible with straight rails only); and double rail posts that hold two rails for added vertical protection. The crash rating is applicable only when the railing is properly anchored, and floor thickness or conditions may cause post failure due to bolt pullout before rail failure occurs.
