The Justrite® Safety Can Type I is a 2-1/2 Gallon container made of galvanized steel with a durable powder paint finish, designed for safe handling of flammable liquids. Key features include a 3-1/2" (88mm) long chemical resistant stainless steel flame arrester that prevents flashback ignition while providing faster liquid flow and exceptional durability. The self-venting, self-closing leakproof lid is engineered to prevent ruptures due to pressure build-up and effectively controls vapors and spills. Each can is equipped with an extra large ID zone on the warning label for clear labeling of contents, reducing the risk of misuse and incompatible mixtures. This safety can is compliant with FM, UL/ULC, and TUV standards, meets OSHA and NFPA requirements, and offers a ten-year warranty.
