The safety strap is designed to enhance the safety of dock workers, particularly in cross docks and facilities that maintain open dock doors, featuring a high visibility dock barrier that alerts workers to loading dock edges. It includes a retractable strap, which keeps the area clear when not in use, housed in a durable yellow powder-coated steel frame with a high-strength yellow nylon strap. The strap extends up to 15 feet in retractable length, with a 20-foot option available upon request. Additionally, the safety strap integrates with a safety signal (sold separately) that functions as a proximity sensor to indicate when the strap is engaged. Please note that this item serves as a visual deterrent and does not comply with OSHA 1910.21 subpart D standards for working walking surfaces.
