Mesa's MH series residential and hotel safes are specially designed for personal in-room use, featuring a compact and user-friendly design that makes them an excellent choice for hotels, universities, hospitals, and homeowners. The kit includes battery-operated electronic locks, offering a standard hotel function lock where users can enter any code to lock and re-enter that code to unlock, with the code erased upon unlocking. The electronic lock also allows for user-defined override settings and includes mechanical override keys to bypass the electronic lock if the batteries expire, accompanied by a battery warning. Security features include anchor holes for securing the safe to the wall or floor, two 3/4" diameter solid steel locking bolts, a pry-resistant recessed door for anti-theft protection, and concealed hinges to prevent door removal while ensuring smooth operation. Additionally, the keypad will enter a lockout penalty mode if incorrect combinations are entered, enhancing security compliance.
