The SC Preferred folding wire container features an 18.5 cu. ft. capacity and supports weights up to 3000 lbs. Constructed from heavy-gauge steel wire mesh with a channel-formed base frame, it includes 4-gauge wire sides and a 2-gauge wire base, reinforced wire hinges, and double-reinforced wire mesh for enhanced durability. The container has a corrosion-resistant gray powder coat finish for long service life and allows sprinkler water penetration due to its mesh design, facilitating visibility and inventory control. It is stackable up to four high, with notched, positive stacking feet that raise the base 6 inches off the floor for forklift or pallet truck handling and a secure stack connection. The design includes a full-length 13-1/2" tall drop gate with integrated latches for easy loading and unloading. The collapsible container folds flat and is stackable when open, requiring no tools for setup. Factory-installed plates allow for the addition of optional casters for better mobility. Additional optional accessories include casters, a hinged wire lid for added security, and a nylon dust cover. Overall dimensions are 40"L x 32"W x 34-1/2"H.
