The Powermatic 3520C lathe is a 2HP, 220V, 1PH woodworking lathe that represents the fourth evolution of a traditional design, incorporating both retained and enhanced features for improved functionality. It includes a sliding headstock, electronic variable speed with low and high-speed ranges, a spindle lock, digital RPM readout, and a self-ejecting laser-etched quill. Enhanced features consist of a movable control box for versatility, adjustable riser blocks allowing up to 6 inches of height adjustment, and a maximum weight of 726 lbs (814 lbs with the bed extension). Additional attributes include an ergonomic spindle lock design, digital indexing readout for precision, an anti-rotation tailstock key for smoother operation, dead centers for visual comparison, and a two-position mount for an optional bed extension.
