The Kwikool temperature sensor extension, part no. KK-TEMPEXT25, is a 25-foot temperature extension that can be used with any Kwikool Iceberg Series portable air conditioner. It is designed for applications where the unit needs to react to a hot spot within the cooled area. This extension replaces the standard temperature sensor located in the upper right-hand corner of the return grill. The 25-foot temperature extension wire extends through the unit cabinet and ends with a temperature sensor. For safety, the wire should be run along the wall to prevent tripping hazards. The sensor is placed in the hot spot region, enabling the unit to turn on and off in response to the temperature at that location, relative to the set point of the unit. This product is made in the USA and includes a limited warranty of 1 year.
