The SC Preferred 3-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial facilities, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. It features durable roll-formed steel framing that provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The open shelving design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The package also includes sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard wood decking shipped in two pieces with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish. The shelving system supports a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level and requires easy boltless assembly with snap-in components, without any bolts, nuts, or clips.
