The SC Preferred 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, providing a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The framing is made of sturdy roll-formed steel with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility, and the particleboard shelves are 5/8" thick, chip resistant, and come precut, shipping in two pieces. The finish is a chip resistant gray baked enamel, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
