The SC Preferred™ 3-shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is engineered to maximize storage with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction to eliminate back and side sway, and sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components. The unit includes a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and a precut 5/8" thick particleboard decking that comes in two pieces, offering a cost-effective solid surface. The open design allows four-side access to shelving for maximum flexibility.
