The kit includes heavy duty beams required for shelving units, with each level requiring four beams. Double rivet beams are used on the top and bottom levels of all units, while single rivet beams are used on all intermediate levels. Capacity can be increased by using double rivet beams on all levels. A sample unit consists of a heavy duty, 5-shelf 48" x 24" configuration with 6-48" and 6-24" single rivet beams, 4 uprights, and 4-48" and 4-24" double rivet beams. An extra heavy duty 5-shelf 48" x 24" unit includes 4 uprights, 10-48", and 10-24" double rivet beams. Beams can also be used as ledges at any required height to prevent merchandise from falling or rolling off shelves. The actual length of the beams is 95.25".
