Hazardous material (HAZMAT) storage buildings have a 2 drum sump capacity as standard and are specifically designed for outdoor storage of 55 gallon drums containing flammable or combustible liquids. Constructed from double-walled galvannealed steel, these buildings feature 3 inches of insulated air space for enhanced strength and safety. They have been tested for tornado resistance, capable of withstanding F-4 tornado force winds of 250 mph. The outer wall is made of all welded 16 or 12 gauge steel, while the inner wall utilizes 20 gauge steel. Included components of the hazardous materials storage building consist of a 12 gauge welded steel, liquid tight sump, removable galvanized steel grating, and safety floor planking. Convection vents are strategically placed throughout, and optional 22 gauge explosion relief panels are safeguarded by expanded steel. The base incorporates 12 gauge galvanized steel forklift channels for easy transportation. Additionally, the buildings come with NFR warning labels, ratings, and instructions. They are finished with chemical, corrosion, and UV resistant paint and meet NFPA Code 30, while also complying with OSHA and EPA regulations. The buildings are FM and UL approved and come with a 15 year limited warranty.
