The Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) storage building is designed for the outdoor storage of four 55-gallon drums containing flammable or combustible liquids, featuring a sump capacity specifically designed for this purpose. Constructed from double walled galvannealed steel with a 3-inch insulated air space, the building offers enhanced strength and safety. It has been tested for tornado resistance, capable of withstanding winds of up to 250 mph (F-4 tornado force). The outer wall is comprised of all welded 16 or 12 gauge steel, while the inner wall is made from 20 gauge steel. The storage building includes a 12 gauge welded steel, liquid tight sump, removable galvanized steel grating, and safety floor planking. It also features convection vents for improved airflow and optional 22 gauge explosion relief panels protected by expanded steel. The base is equipped with 12 gauge galvanized steel forklift channels to facilitate transportation. Additionally, NFR warning labels, ratings, and instructions are included, and the entire unit is finished in a chemical, corrosion, and UV resistant paint. This building meets NFPA Code 30 and complies with OSHA and EPA regulations, and it is FM and UL approved. It comes with a 15-year limited warranty.
