The Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) storage building features a 9-drum sump capacity and is specifically designed for the outdoor storage of 55-gallon drums containing flammable or combustible liquids. Constructed with double-walled galvannealed steel, it includes 3 inches of insulated air space for enhanced strength and safety. This building has been tested for tornado resistance, capable of withstanding F-4 tornado force winds up to 250 mph. The outer wall is made of all welded 16 or 12 gauge steel, while the inner wall is constructed from 20 gauge steel. Key attributes include a 12 gauge welded steel, liquid-tight sump, removable galvanized steel grating, and safety floor planking, with convection vents strategically placed throughout. Options such as 22 gauge explosion relief panels, protected by expanded steel, are available. The base features 12 gauge galvanized steel forklift channels to assist in transportation. NFR warning labels, ratings, and instructions are provided, and the building is finished with chemical, corrosion, and UV resistant paint. It meets NFPA Code 30 standards and complies with OSHA and EPA regulations, having received FM and UL approval. The product comes with a 15-year limited warranty.
