Bird-X Bird Control Bird Proof Liquid is a non-toxic bird repellent designed for application on ledges, sills, beams, rafters, and a multitude of other indoor and outdoor locations where nuisance birds tend to roost. This formula creates a sticky texture that deters birds, remaining safe for use in all weather conditions. Initially opaque white, it dries quickly to a colorless film, ensuring minimal visibility after application. The product allows for easy brush-on application or can be utilized with a pressurized sprayer. Once applied, it effectively discourages birds from roosting in the treated area for up to one year. For interior use, it is recommended to treat beams, girders, struts, supports, and pipes, ensuring to cover machinery and floors to prevent spray drift or runoff. The liquid should be applied as a continuous layer on the surface being treated, with additional applications advised for larger birds like pigeons and starlings to achieve optimal effectiveness. However, for exterior use, the application is discouraged on outside buildings or structures due to potential challenges with controlling spray drift and runoff, as well as the difficulty in removing the material from large treated surfaces.
