The vest is constructed from a modacrylic cotton blend FR (flame-resistant) fabric, which meets ASTM F1506 performance requirements with an Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV) rating of 7.1 cal/cm²; it is classified as HRC1 per NFPA 70E standards. The kit includes adjustable hook and loop closures on both shoulders and waist for a customizable fit, and the extended vest surface area enhances cooling power. Additionally, the vest is equipped with two elastic pen loops on the chest for convenience.
