The Dual-Lite PLD7M2 emergency LED battery pack delivers a constant output power of 7W and features a durable galvanized steel construction along with two (2) 24" flexible conduits. This universal input device (120-277V) operates in conjunction with an AC LED driver, enabling the use of an LED lighting load in both normal and emergency modes. The unit is equipped with a solid-state charger, an automatic transfer circuit, a 2-wire test switch, and an LED charging indicator light, along with a high-temperature nickel-cadmium battery. Designed for external mounting to the LED fixture, the PLD7M2 allows for lumens to be calculated by multiplying the output power of the emergency LED driver (7W) by the efficacy of the LED load, providing a reliable estimate for lighting design as actual lumen output in emergency mode may exceed this calculation. Lumens in emergency mode can be derived using the formula: Lumens per watt of fixture multiplied by the output power of the chosen product (lumens) equals (LM/W) multiplied by W.
