The Heavy-Duty Electrically Insulated Extensions for Utility AirSpade 4000 are designed to provide extended reach capability for hard-to-reach locations, featuring a rugged, lightweight, insulated 4 ft. barrel. Constructed from a high-pressure rated, insulated inner air hose surrounded by a non-conductive, rigid fiberglass outer tube, the inner air hose is rated to 75kV per ft. for 5 minutes per SAE 100R7, while the outer fiberglass tube is rated to 100kV per ft. for 5 minutes per ASTM F711. The kit includes non-sparking brass connection hardware, including dual male threaded connections and a non-sparking brass coupler. Additional features include non-sparking brass sleeves and threads, as well as knurled surfaces that provide superior grip for secure connections. These extensions are compatible with all AirSpade 4000 components and accessories.
