Eagle's 96 gallon, self-closing, paint and ink safety cabinet is constructed of 18-gauge (1 mm) steel with reinforced double wall construction featuring a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space on the sides, top, bottom, back, and doors. The cabinet includes two 2 in (5.1 cm) internal vents each fitted with a threaded fitting, fire baffle, and cap. It has a lead-free, high-gloss, baked-on powder coat finish with red trilingual warning labels, grounding attachment, and a 3-point stainless steel bullet latching system with flush mounted door handle and key lock. The doors are self-closing with a 135° opening and feature concealed self-close mechanisms for obstruction-free top shelf access and self-indexing to ensure tight closure from top to bottom. The cabinet incorporates continuous piano hinges, a 2 in (5.1 cm) raised, leakproof door sill, four adjustable galvanized leveling legs, and internal and external welded construction. The patented adjustable galvanized steel shelves are supported by four brackets spaced on 3 in (7.6 cm) centers, each shelf holding a safe allowable uniform distributed load of 350 lbs (159 kg) and directing spills to a leakproof sump at the back and bottom. The cabinet is FM-approved and meets NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements. Its internal dimensions are 30.75"W x 30.34"D x 60.5"H.
