Rails prevent forklift and personnel mishaps, constructed from corrosion-resistant 10 gauge galvanized steel that measures 12"H x 3-3/8"W and includes visibility stripes. The system requires 3 mounting posts and mounting hardware, sold separately as Global #652823 or #652824. With a crash rating of 4,000 lbs. at 4 mph, the kit offers options for posts that cater to various requirements: spring posts that flex to absorb impact, 18"H or 42"H posts that can mount rails permanently or allow for uninstallation as needed (for use with straight rails only), and double rail posts that hold 2 rails for added vertical protection. Please note that the crash rating is applicable only when the railing is properly anchored; floor thickness and conditions may lead to post failure (bolt pullout) before the rail fails.
