Cantilever arms are essential components of the rack system, and their proper selection is crucial for a successful storage plan. These arms are available in two styles: straight arms, typically used for stable loads like lumber, steel sheets, cartons, and skids, and inclined arms, designed for cylindrical objects or loads that tend to roll forward. The arms can be adjusted on 3" centers up and down the upright and come in lengths of up to 60" with various capacities. Each arm features a hair pin keeper that allows for instant adjustability and easy removal for height adjustments. For straight arms up to 48" long, there is a minimum pitch of 3/8" per foot to accommodate for deflection, and the standard arm color is gray. These cantilever arms are made in the USA and are only compatible with BSC Preferred 2000 Series cantilever racks.
