The structural plastic shelving components include an 18" shelf leg made from high-density, black structural polyethylene plastic, which is ideal for freezers and is impervious to oils, salts, acids, and most chemicals. This shelving system is virtually maintenance-free and steam cleanable. The posts measure 2-3/8" in diameter and interlock with the shelves to create a rigid assembly. Please note that Model 798880A (adapter) is required to attach all legs to platforms.
