Metromax 4 is an all polymer corrosion-proof shelving system featuring removable open grid or solid shelf mat sections. The shelf mats, beams, and posts incorporate built-in Microban antimicrobial product protection. Each shelf is designed with circumferential capture of corner posts, ensuring superior stability, performance, and structural integrity. The rigid construction allows for stationary units to support a maximum capacity of 2000 lbs. (907 kg) when the load is evenly distributed. Mobile units combine a Metromax I bottom shelf with Metromax 4 upper shelves, posts, and casters, with the capacity to transport a maximum total unit load of 600 lbs. (272 kg) evenly distributed. The design facilitates easy assembly, as the preassembled shelves mount on four one-piece wedges along numbered posts and can be adjusted in 1" (25 mm) increments. Both the shelves and polymer posts come with a lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion and are NSF listed for all environments.
