Metromax 4 is an all polymer corrosion-proof shelving system featuring removable open grid or solid shelf mat sections. The shelf mats, beams, and posts are equipped with built-in Microban antimicrobial product protection, ensuring cleanliness and longevity. Each shelf is designed with circumferential capture of corner posts, providing superior stability, performance, and structural integrity. The rigid construction of the stationary units supports a maximum capacity of 2000 lbs. (907 kg) when the load is evenly distributed. For mobile units, a combination of a Metromax I bottom shelf and Metromax 4 upper shelves, along with posts and casters, allows for the transportation of a total load of 600 lbs. (272 kg) evenly distributed. The assembly of units is straightforward, with preassembled shelves that mount on four one-piece wedges along numbered posts, which can be adjusted in 1" (25 mm) increments. Shelves and polymer posts come with a lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion, and the system is NSF listed for all environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
