Metromax 4 is an all polymer corrosion-proof shelving system that features removable open grid or solid shelf mat sections, with built-in Microban antimicrobial product protection in the shelf mats, beams, and posts. Designed for superior stability, performance, and structural integrity, all shelves incorporate circumferential capture of corner posts. The rigid construction allows stationary units to support a maximum capacity of 2000 lbs. (907 kg) when evenly distributed. Mobile units comprise a Metromax I bottom shelf combined with Metromax 4 upper shelves, along with posts and casters, capable of transporting a total unit load of 600 lbs. (272 kg) evenly distributed. The units assemble easily, with preassembled shelves that mount on four one-piece wedges along numbered posts, which can be adjusted in 1" (25 mm) increments. Shelves and polymer posts come with a lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion and are NSF listed for all environments.
